Betteshanger Colliery Welfare Band, based in Deal, Kent, was formed in 1932 to give miners a means of relaxation after a long day's work. Recently crowned “National Brass Band Champions of Great Britain (Section 3) and secured a sponsorship deal with Eclipse Instruments.
